- 1 tablespoon molasses
Instructions
- Whisk flour, cocoa, spices, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in egg, vanilla, and molasses.
- Stir in dry ingredients until combined.
- Chill dough until firm.
- Roll dough into balls and coat in sugar.
- Bake until edges are set and centers are soft.
- Press indentations and finish baking.
- Melt chocolate with butter and molasses.
- Fill cookies and let ganache set.
