Description

Creamy Cookie Dough Pretzel Bites with salty pretzels and smooth chocolate. Easy to prep, reliable texture, and perfect for make-ahead treats.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups heat-treated all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 4050 pretzels
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon shortening


Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in milk and vanilla until combined.
  3. Add flour and salt and mix until a thick dough forms.
  4. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
  5. Portion dough and sandwich between pretzels.
  6. Freeze pretzel bites until firm.
  7. Melt chocolate until smooth.
  8. Dip pretzel bites halfway into chocolate.
  9. Chill until chocolate is set.

Notes

  1. Use heat-treated flour for safety.
  2. Chill the dough sandwiches before dipping.
