These Cheesy Chicken Garlic Wraps combine tender garlic-seasoned chicken, melty cheese, and a creamy sauce wrapped in a golden tortilla. Easy to make, perfectly toasted, and bursting with flavor, they’re ideal for a quick lunch, cozy dinner, or meal prep favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast or thigh meat, shredded or diced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise or sour cream (or half of each)

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • Optional: chopped spinach, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, or jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Stir in cooked chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Add mayonnaise or sour cream and mix until the chicken is coated in a creamy garlic sauce.

  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  6. Lay a tortilla flat and spoon the mixture down the center.

  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the filling and fold the tortilla burrito-style.

  8. Heat a clean skillet or griddle over medium heat.

  9. Toast the wraps seam-side down for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.

  10. Slice in half and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a crispier wrap, brush the outside lightly with melted butter before toasting.

  • Rotisserie chicken adds flavor and convenience.

  • Avoid overfilling to keep the wrap from tearing.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in a skillet or air fryer.
