Method
- Place onions and garlic into the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add chicken breasts on top of the vegetables.
- Sprinkle taco seasoning, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper over the chicken.
- Pour salsa and chicken broth over the top without stirring.
- Cook on low for 4–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred with two forks.
- Return shredded chicken to the crockpot and mix with juices.
- Assemble tacos with warm tortillas and toppings.

- Adjust salsa type to control spice level.
- Store leftovers for up to four days.
