Warm grilled peaches brushed with olive oil, finished with cinnamon butter, and served with vanilla ice cream. This easy summer dessert comes together quickly and brings out the natural sweetness of ripe peaches with light grill marks and rich buttery flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 to 6 ripe peaches
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 to 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits carefully.
  3. Brush the cut side of the peaches lightly with olive oil.
  4. Brush the grill grates with olive oil if needed to prevent sticking.
  5. Place peaches cut side down on the grill and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until grill marks form and peaches soften.
  6. While the peaches cook, melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  7. Stir sugar and cinnamon into the melted butter mixture.
  8. Remove peaches from the grill and place them on a rimmed baking sheet or serving platter.
  9. Slowly spoon the cinnamon butter mixture over the grilled peaches so it soaks into the centers.
  10. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and any toppings you prefer.

Notes

  1. Use peaches that are ripe but still slightly firm so they hold their shape on the grill.
  2. Leave the skins on while grilling to help keep the peaches intact.
  3. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  4. Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave before serving again.
