This Garlic Butter Beef Bites and Potatoes recipe is a one-pan comfort dish with juicy seared beef, crispy potatoes, and rich garlic butter sauce — a homely weeknight favourite that’s easy and satisfying.
1 pound Yukon Gold potatoes, diced into small chunks
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoonful of paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Total prep and cook time: Approximately 30 minutes (10 minutes prep, 20 minutes cook time). Cut the potatoes into small cubes and toss with olive oil, salt, and paprika.
Cook the potatoes in a skillet over medium heat for about 10 minutes until golden and tender, then set aside.
Pat the steak cubes dry, season with salt and pepper, and sear them in butter until browned on both sides.
Remove beef, lower the heat, and melt remaining butter with garlic and rosemary until fragrant.
Return potatoes and beef to the skillet, toss in the garlic butter sauce, and drizzle with Worcestershire if desired.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For best texture, don’t overcrowd the skillet when searing beef.
Parboil potatoes briefly for an even softer interior.
Reheat leftovers in a skillet instead of microwaving to keep everything crisp.
