Description

A quick, melty, and satisfying Cheeseburger Quesadilla that combines juicy ground beef, gooey melted cheese, and crisp tortillas for a fun twist on a classic American burger. Perfect for busy weeknights, it’s ready in just 30 minutes and delivers all the comfort and flavor of a cheeseburger in a handheld form.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for juicy texture)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon crushed powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
  • ½ cup cubed pickles
  • ½ cup chopped tomatoes
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Drain any excess fat.

  2. Lay a tortilla on a clean surface and spread ketchup and mustard evenly. Sprinkle a layer of cheese, add beef, pickles, onions, and tomatoes. Add more cheese and top with another tortilla.

  3. Cook the quesadilla in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Press lightly with a spatula for even browning.

  4. Let rest for a minute, then slice into wedges and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  1. Use plant-based ground meat and dairy-free cheese for a vegan version.
  2. Opt for gluten-free tortillas to make it gluten-free.
  3. Do not overfill the tortilla to prevent breakage.
  4. Reheat leftovers in a skillet or oven to keep them crispy.
